Resistance Stretching DVD
"...a cross between a yoga class, a massage, and a Cirque du Soleil performance."
Resistance Stretching
Lynn is the first person in Minneapolis/St. Paul to be certified in Resistance Stretching, a form of stretching in which a muscle simultaneously contracts as it lengthens. A session also includes "mashing" massage. Olympic athlete Dara Torres credits this flexibility technique with helping her to win 3 silver medals in Beijing. Elizabeth Weil of the New York Times describes resistance stretching as "...a cross between a yoga class, a massage, and a Cirque du Soleil performance."

Corrective Massage
My unique version of “deep tissue” massage, blending soothing touch  with precise orthopedic manipulation of deep fibers. Each session is designed just for you to release chronic  tension through slower strokes and more direct pressure. This invigorating experience will relieve congestion and stiffness by lengthening and “unsticking” painful muscles. Techniques include: Tissue Displacement, De-layering, Myofascial Release, and other technical sounding stuff like Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation. But don’t let anyone tell you that it has to be painful to be effective! That just isn't true.

Mashing
A sports massage technique for athletic conditioning and recovery from events where the practitioner uses his/her feet to massage and pump the muscles.

Shiatsu Therapy
I use palms, fingers, thumbs, knuckles, elbows,  knees and my feet . . .

Shiatsu Therapy
Shiatsu is a traditional Japanese healing method. Shiatsu means "finger pressure." Working through your clothing, I use palms, fingers, thumbs, knuckles, elbows, knees and my feet to work on acupuncture points and energy channels. It is a safe and effective therapy to balance the flow of Yin and Yang as they travel through your body. How do you know your Yin and Yang are out of balance? If you have to ask…then they probably are.

Joint Spaces
A truly out-of-this-world experience. Massage and stretching are combined to address high-demand areas: the joints! Experience exquisite relief at the muscle attachments of major points of articulation: Neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees and ankles. It will leave you feeling loose and jiggly.

Pit Stop
Take a 15 minute vacation with a short massage that is long on results. A little goes a long way!
