Bumpy Arms
December 27, 2009 at 10:03 pm (Massage)
A client asked me lately how to get rid of those little bumps that are common on the back of the arms and thighs. I recommend dry skin brushing just before a shower. It exfoliates dead cells and brings blood to the skin. A quick Google search for “dry skin brushing” uncovers a lot a sites that talk about the miraculous effects of skin brushing. Evidently it cures everything from eczema to cancer. <sarcasm> Amazing! Will it whiten my teeth, too? </sarcasm> Eh, unlikely.
Look for a brush with natural bristles, like this one from Yerba Prima. The bristles are firm, yet soft enough to be comfortable.

I love skin brushing but I can’t see it getting rid of those bumps.

I had a mentor a few years ago make a comment that those bumps as well as dry ski. In the tricep area are side effects from too much sugar & carbohydrates in ones diet. Take it for what you will.

I don’t know if you are refering to the same Bumps we get on the back or chest. If so, those are Fat bumps and need to me removed through exfoliation.
Also I have heard this may be a hormonal disorder or bad eating habits.

I don’t know should you are refering for the very same Bumps we get around the back or chest. If that’s the case, these are Extra fat bumps and want to me removed by way of exfoliation.
